Bonjour! We are very excited to introduce our first Indoor/ Outdoor Collection!
The Île de Ré Collection is inspired by the island on France’s Atlantic Coast which is almost caught in time. The island is dotted with authentically charming villages which are all best discovered by biking through the salty breeze. There is a slow rhythm on Île de Ré, and our new outdoor fabrics capture the essence of days exploring wide beaches in the late afternoon summer light.
On a practical note, our indoor outdoor fabrics are not solution dyed acrylic, but rather polyester and polypropylene blends that pass Oeko-tex 100 Standard and the European high standard Greenguard. These fabrics are recyclable, antibacterial, anti-mold, and anallergic. The fabrics are easy to wash, quick drying, resistant to sea water and chlorine, lightfast, and water repellent.
Each fabric is named for a favorite village dotting the seascape on Île de Ré.
Les Portes is a painterly indoor/ outdoor design inspired by the quiet beach haven at the tip of the island.
St. Martin is an indoor/outdoor geometric design inspired by the winding alleés of this fortified port village on Île de Ré which was recently named to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites.
Loix is an indoor/outdoor natural stripe named for the village on Île de Ré known for its authentic charm and salt marshes.
La Couarde is an indoor/ outdoor texture named for one of our favorite villages on Île de Ré with pine lines bike paths and a beautiful cathedral at its center.
Le Bois is an indoor/ outdoor tactile texture offered in five colors reminiscent of the wide beaches and white washed cottages on Île de Ré.
Spring arrived a little early this season! À plage!
