Color Trends
Palma, Kuba, Leone, and Marigot - left to right
A question we often get, is what are the new color trends? We are influenced by fashion, shelter magazines, street style, but mostly we just go with our gut. I had a big indigo moment a couple of years ago, and that really showed through in our collections. Now, we are really drawn to pastels, especially a dusty pink.
This year's Pantone color of the year is a very bright, lime green. Not currently our jam, but last year's colors were baby blue and pink which did end up making an impact on our collection.

Our current Brooklyn shop window, inspired by an interior designer's feminine office, is fun and tidy, with its fresh Spring style featuring some of our current favorite colors.
The most amazing detail in this window is the handmade "rug" made by my talented friend Vera. She used leftover fabric scraps I had hanging around my office to make this gorgeous quilt. I want to use it as a wall hanging, but you can beat me to it and buy it on our webshop!
On the flip side, our new Spring collection is just about to launch, and there are some bold and graphic designs that add punctuation to these neutral and soft palletes.
Our new Manuel geometric embroidery, named for our dear friend, Manuel Canovas.
