We have a bit of an obsession with Rome. Whenever I hear someone say that they love visiting Italy, but just not Rome so much, I am baffled. Truly.
The architecture, the history, the bustling people, THE FOOD! So we at Castel have named a few fabrics after some of our favorite Roman landmarks such as Corso, Margutta, Aventino, and Palatine.
Featured today for our Textile Tuesday is Palatine. Palatine is named for the centermost of the Seven Hills of Rome. This plush geometric velvet with its cut pile and metallic warp yarns is destined to be a Castel classic. Bellissimo!
